THE JOURNEY SO FAR…I’ve never really known how to do things halfway. When something lights me up, I follow it. When I feel the call to learn something, I learn it. When something arrives intuitively, I explore it. And when I know something needs to exist in the world, I bring it to life.
That’s really the story of The Recharge. It didn’t begin as a business plan.
It began in the backyard of my home, as Jasmine Hart & Soul Yoga. I created moonlight yoga classes under the night sky, moving through yoga with the cycles of the moon. Each week became an opportunity to notice where we were, what was shifting, what we were releasing and what we were being called towards. And then something else happened. A woman who was only two weeks postpartum arrived at one of my classes. I immediately knew I needed to understand more about the woman’s body. So I went deeper.
I completed pregnancy and postpartum yoga training, then began exploring the menstrual cycle, the womb, pelvic health, the pelvic floor, anatomy, tantric practices and the divine feminine.
I sought out teachers, facilitators and practitioners who embodied this work. I kept learning. And the more I learned, the more I realised how much wisdom there is in a woman’s body.
Then came the mothers. I had been a stay at home mother for eight years myself. I was raising four children and, honestly, I took my babies everywhere. I was the mother breastfeeding in the middle of life. Sometimes even in the middle of teaching.
I remember teaching yoga with my baby on me, breastfeeding while I adapted the sequence around the women on their mats. It wasn’t polished. It wasn’t conventional. But it was real.
And I started to realise that mothers didn’t need another space where they had to leave part of themselves at the door. They needed somewhere they could simply arrive as they were. Babies included. So I created it.
I began running mothers and bubs classes, supporting women through pregnancy and motherhood, learning babywearing so I could safely support mothers who wanted to bring their babies into movement, and creating spaces where motherhood could exist alongside connection, body, breath and selfhood.
I worked with women through pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding and the messy, beautiful reality of early motherhood. And I loved it.
The circles began naturally. At the end of our classes, we’d sit together. We’d check in. We’d pull a card. We’d share what was happening beneath the surface. There was something about sitting in a circle that changed the room. People softened. Women opened. We stopped performing and started connecting. And I wanted to understand that work more deeply.
So I studied counselling, trained in women’s circle facilitation and began creating dedicated spaces for women to gather. What started as a small circle became monthly full moon gatherings. I held them for two and a half years. And those circles became one of the most beautiful threads in my work.
Then the work grew. I moved into a beautiful acreage space and created an in-home studio surrounded by land and a magical garden. That space became a place for yoga, circles, rituals, connection and retreats. I held more than 14 retreats there. Weekly classes and circles were crafted. I collaborated with incredible women. I facilitated at festivals. I travelled to retreats and teachings. I kept learning. I kept following the next thing.
And eventually, the work became The Recharge. Over the years, the name evolved with me. Jasmine Heart & Soul Yoga. Then The Mother’s Recharge. Then The Women’s Recharge. And eventually, The Recharge Yoga Studio. Each name represented a different chapter. But underneath all of them was the same thread. Helping women reconnect. With their bodies. With their breath. With each other. With their intuition. With something deeper.
And then I opened a studio. A real one. A beautiful commercial space that I had dreamed into existence. For a moment, it felt like everything had come together. The studio was beautiful. The energy was incredible. The teachers were AMAZING!! It was filled with yoga, wellness, community and spirit. It was something I was incredibly proud of creating. That chapter was shorter than I expected, but it taught me something important. The building was never the business. The space was never the work. The work has always been the women. The connection. The transformation. The energy. The moments where someone walks into a room one way and walks out feeling something shift. And that is where I am now. Coming back to the essence. The Recharge is evolving again.
I’m not interested in creating another space that simply asks women to come to a class, tick a box and go home. I’m feeling called towards deeper work. Yoga. Breathwork. Women’s circles. Intuitive experiences. Transformational containers. Community. Spaces where we can slow down enough to actually hear ourselves.
My work is deeply intuitive. I experience psychic downloads, synchronicities, visions and a strong sense of connection to spirit, and that thread runs through everything I facilitate. But I don’t want you to follow my intuition instead of your own. Quite the opposite. I want you to become more connected to yours.
Because I believe your body is always communicating.
Your breath is always telling you something.
Your intuition is always whispering.
And underneath all the noise, there is a part of you that already knows.
My role is to create the space for you to hear it.
To explore it.
To trust it.
And then to do something with it.
Because insight without action only takes us so far.
We ground it.
We trust it.
We bring it to life.
That is the work.
And I have no idea exactly what The Recharge will become next. I’ve stopped needing to know. I just know there is a call. And I’m answering it. So if you’re feeling that call too…
You’re welcome here.
